​Dead After Dark is a metalcore band hailing from the Okanagan, where cleans meet bloodcurdling screams. Their sound is an unapologetic mashup of genres - djenty riffs, hardcore grit, post-metal ambience and choruses that hit like a gut punch and a sweet kitty hug at the same time. 

Fronted by Lisa, whose voice shifts from giggling school girl to demonic in the span of a verse, Dead After Dark brings both power and precision to the stage with lyrics and melodies that are emotional and deep.

 

Lance flips between bass and guitar with unsettling ease. Equal parts perfectionist and the band's composer, he crafts riffs, layers textures and makes sure every detail is dialed in. With a laugh you cannot forget, he brings the magic. 

 

​Lance and Lisa first met back in 2020 and quickly became friends over a shared love for metal, the colour pink and animals with smushed faces. ​"Detox" was a collab dropped in 2021 and re-released in February 2025.

Whether you're here for brutal lows, soaring cleans or breakdowns that spank your bottom sideways, this trio delivers. Live shows are part ritual, part catharsis, all heart.
